Product Introduction
The vented transfer spikes are needle-free admixture devices custom manufactured for convenient fluid transfer and immediate IV medication preparation, an alternative of Extra Spike Plus.
As a universal admixture device, the mini transfer spikes are sometimes called IV bag access spikes, widely employed in intravenous drug preparation and administration practices. These transfer devices make it easier to prepare medications that need to be mixed with diluents before administration from drug vials or source containers into the intravenous (IV) bag or bottles.
The green colorway transfer spike come with 0.45um air venting filter built-in. The PTFE filters are specifically designed to eliminate aerosolization of intravenous admixture and chemotherapeutic medication preparation process. In addition, the inbuilt air vent plays a crucial role in automating pressure balancing of the fluid transferring process. Featured with a tight-sealing flip cap and ergonomic handle, the transfer set spikes are user-friendly, taking into account of user needs and operational convenience and significantly reducing the time and effort required for medication preparation. And covered under the flip cap is a standard luer lock connector that offers easy connection with luer-lock syringes. These fluid dispensing connectors help to prioritize safety and efficiency, allow healthcare professionals to reconstitute and/or admix drugs directly at the point of care.
