Hydrophobic Transducer Protector Filter With Micropore PTFE
Product Introduction
Transducer Protector Filter with hydrophobic PTFE membrane(0.22/0.45/1.0μm) in an ABS-based polymers housing. Non-toxic, non-sterile. The product is provided for further manufacturing, processing and repackaging. PTFE filter membranes adopt a dual-layer lamination design, which offers more comprehensive filtration effects. Air entering from any direction is effectively treated with antibacterial filtration while ensuring venting.Hemodialysis machine's circuits are equipped with Transducer Protectors Filters (TP filters) to protect the equipment sensor and reduce the risk of infection control to some extent.
Features
- Equipped hydrophobic PTFE
- Antibacterial and air venting
- Allows only sterile air to pass through
- Protect patients and equipment from both bacterial and viral cross-contamination
- Eliminates contamination of the internal pressure monitoring lines
- Prevents blood and dialyzing fluid from damaging sensitive transducers

Applications
Transducer protectors filters are used in hemodialysis blood lines, one each for arterial and venous pressures. TP filters with hydrophobic filtration membranes can separate the liquid (priming fluid, blood) in the circuit from the transducer, preventing the blood flowing through the circuit from contaminating the machine.
