Hydrophobic PTFE Membrane Spike Vented Caps from China Suppliers - Quality Manufacturing at Our Factory

Introducing our superior PTFE venting solutions, manufactured in China by leading suppliers in the industry. Our products harness the natural hydrophobic properties of PTFE, offering exceptional chemical compatibility, making them perfect for venting applications, phase separations, and aerosol reductions, With outstanding hydrophobic and oleophobic characteristics, our PTFE materials effectively prevent the impregnation of essential drugs such as TPN, D-Mannitol, and ICAs. This ensures the integrity of your pharmaceuticals while blocking tiny particles, dust, and other airborne impurities, Designed to guarantee smooth air entry, our products maintain pressure balance with infusion sets, making them an indispensable choice for any factory looking to enhance product quality and reliability. Trust our China-based factory to deliver the best in PTFE technology for your needs

    Product Introduction

XINNA PTFE forms a uniformly distributed and extremely fine pore structure, it’s a widely used filter media for medical air vents and closing caps. Laminated to Polypropylene (PP) or Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) support for improved durability and handling, also ensures compatibility with conventional market welding requirements and material compatibility with housing.

Because of expanded structure of PTFE itself, it allows a range of options of pore size which are customizable to meet various requirements and tailed membrane application solutions.

The outstanding oleophobic property can effectively prevent the impregnation of low surface tension liquids such as lipids and alcohol, which consequently improves the safety of infusion medications and reduces the feedback of adverse clinical events.

We strongly recommend that customers choose oleophobic PTFE air venting membrane to keep IV infusion medication safety.

To avoid complicated drugs permeation issue in clinical applications, hydrophobic and oleophobic PTFE membranes are both provided by XINNA at your option.

    Warning
Handle with care to avoid damaging the filter material.
Sterilization by irradiation is not available.
Glue or cyclohexanone for adhesion can clog the material itself, preventing gas from passing through.
Avoid contact with alcohol or high-permeability solvents, otherwise, the material will become hydrophilic before it is fully dried (for Hydrophobic ePTFE only).

    Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q What are the primary applications of XINNA PTFE venting membranes?
XINNA PTFE membranes are widely used as filter media for medical air vents, closing caps, vented caps with luer lock, spike air venting, high-pressure injectors, gas-liquid separation, and vented drainage devices.
Q What support materials can be laminated to the PTFE membrane?
The membranes can be laminated to Polypropylene (PP) or Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) supports to improve durability, handling, and material compatibility with housing and welding requirements.
Q Does XINNA offer both hydrophobic and oleophobic options?
Yes, XINNA provides both hydrophobic and oleophobic PTFE membranes to avoid complicated drug permeation issues in clinical applications and protect against low surface tension liquids like lipids and alcohol.
Q Can the pore size and thickness of the membrane be customized?
Yes, the pore size ranges from 0.2 to 3.0μm, and both the pore size options and thickness are fully customizable to meet specific application requirements.
Q What precautions should be taken regarding sterilization and chemicals?
Sterilization by irradiation is not available. Additionally, avoid using glue or cyclohexanone for adhesion as they can clog the material, and prevent contact with alcohol or high-permeability solvents to maintain hydrophobicity.
