Hydrophobic PTFE membrane for vented urine bags & drainage bottle
Product Introduction
PTFE membrane is hydrophobic in nature and is effective barriers to microbes and particulate matter. The high reduction and water intrusion pressures allow the membranes to resist high surface tension liquids while venting gases.
Membranes are used in a variety of applications such as vents of drainage systems, sensors protection and priming components because it’s available in a range of pore sizes options to suit your retention and flow rate requirements.
These hydrophobic and oleophobic characteristics offer the membrane itself broad chemical compatibility and excellent particulates retention. It serve as a barrier and reduce the risk of particulate contamination in gas where aerosol comes out of the drainage bottle & bag to avoid the health care personnel get infections.
PTFE membranes are laminated to a non-woven polyester support material, offering easy handling and physical characteristics, giving the membrane wide sealing methods, and also sterilizing methods compatibility.
Features
- Hydrophobic and oleophobic properties
- Excellent removal performance of particle, bacterial and viral
- Protection from airborne contaminants to patients, workers, and equipment
