E membrane(PET) Hydrophobic for Spike vented caps
Product Introduction
Medical devices require vents to keep their internal pressure in balance with the ambient pressure, maintaining pressure balance within the infusion set and avoids the deformation of rigid plastic containers and interruptions in flow of fluids.
The vents that use our Hydrophobic PET membrane could protect the fluid path from particles, aerosol and bacterial contamination, avoid risk to human health, maintaining sterility of an IV set and bottle.
Because of its unique constructure and manufacturing process, Hydrophobic PET membrane has the same performance and property on both surfaces. Every fiber deep inside the spike venting membranes is hydrophobic and oleophobic, the outstanding oleophobic properties can effectively prevent permeation of lipids and alcohols drugs like TPN, D-Mannitol etc., which consequently improve the safety of infusion medications and reduce the feedback of adverse clinical events.
Features
- Hydrophobic and Oleophobic
- Low air flow reduction and operating pressure
- High air flow rate
- Excellent drug compatibility
- Good tear resistance and tensile strength
- No fiber shedding
- Economic cost
