We must pay attention to that the drip chamber must always be half full during use. If the liquid exceeds half, the dripping of the liquid will not be visible. If there is too little liquid, air can easily enter the intravenous injection tube and eventually enter the circulatory system, triggering a risk of infusion.

We can see that there is a vent on the spike , which is mainly suitable for intravenous infusion bottles made of glass. Ventilation holes can allow air to enter the intravenous injection bottle and change the liquid level. With the injection of air, the liquid in the glass bottle can smoothly descend and maintain a suitable liquid level in the drip chamber.

The main function of a filter membrane is to filter out bacteria, precipitates, and insoluble particles entered during drug preparation, treatment, and mixing processes, protecting patients from the dangers caused by particles and ensuring infusion safety.
