Hydrophobic Glass Fiber filter for Infusion Spike Venting

Our hydrophobic glass fiber membrane is comprised of a glass fiber matrix and performance binder. And our treatment in the manufacturing process makes the filter material both hydrophobic and oleophobic.

Using hydrophobic glass fiber membrane as a vent filter in medical application, could be used in application which require gases exchanging frequently like inlet venting caps of IV set and drugs transfer accessories while reducing the risk of airborne bacterial contamination. Especially, it can be used as filtration media in a low-pressure air & gas delivery which can equalize pressure immediately between drug vessels and the external environment while reducing the deformation of drug vessels.
