Product Introduction
Melt blown membrane is made of polypropylene fibers with a multi-layered depth structure that provides a higher surface area (BET) and greater particulate containment.
Our exclusive proprietary manufacturing process employed in the production of melt-blown membranes utilizes the entire vertical dimension of the membrane, making efficient use of its depth structure. This unique process creates multiple filtration zones in while increasing or decreasing internal distance between each fiber and layers in 3D micro view.
These multiple filter zones achieve the same function as asymmetrical membranes, capturing non-uniformity μm of particulates in specific areas of the membrane itself, effectively clarifying drugs, lipids and parenteral nutrition.
The outermost layer of the membrane captures large particles, the innermost layer removes smaller particles.
